Sabudana Khichdi

1. Wash the sabudana well and soak it in water for about 4–5 hours or overnight. 2. After soaking, drain the excess water and keep the sabudana aside. 3. Heat oil or ghee in a pan on medium flame. 4. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves and let them crackle. 5. Add chopped green chilli and sauté for a few seconds. 6. Add boiled potato cubes and cook for 2–3 minutes. 7. Add soaked sabudana and mix gently. 8. Add salt, sugar and crushed peanuts. 9. Cook for 4–5 minutes while stirring occasionally until sabudana becomes translucent.

पोहा रेसिपी

1.छन्नी में पोहा डालकर पानी से साफ कर लें। ध्यान रहे, पोहा को पानी में ज़्यादा समय के लिए न भिगोएं। इसलिए इसे छन्नी में ही रहने दें। 2.एक पैन में तेल डालें। उसमें हींग, राई, कढ़ी पत्ता, प्याज़ और साबुत लाल मिर्च डालें। 3.जब प्याज़ हल्के सुनहरे रंग की हो जाएं, तो इसमें आलू डालें। जब आलू हल्के सुनहरे रंग के हो जाएं, तो इसमें हल्दी डालें। 4.आलू को हल्की आंच पर फ्राई कर लें। ध्यान रहे, आलू पूरी तरह पक जाना चाहिए। 5.अब आंच को तेज़ करें। उसमें नमक और पोहा डालकर अच्छी तरह मिलाएं। हल्का भूनें। 6.आंच बंद करके इसमें हरी मिर्च, नींबू का रस और आधा हरा धनिया डालें। 7.एक कटोरी में निकाल कर ऊपर से बाकी बचे हरे धनिये और नींबू का छिलके से गार्निश कर सर्व करें।

Boil water in a saucepan. Add sugar and tea powder in it and boil it for 3-4 mintues on medium flame. Add milk and boil it over medium flame for 6-7 minutes or until bubbles starts to rise. You will see the change in color of the tea from milky shade to brown shade when it is ready. Turn off the gas and strain tea in cups.

Dhokla

In a mixing bowl take the besan. Add the sugar, oil, ginger-chilli paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Add in the water slowly to form a pouring batter, without lumps. Keep this batter aside for 10 minutes. Grease the vessel in you want to steam it in with oil. (you canuse the vessel provided with the pressure cooker). Steam in a pressure cooker without whistle. Keep the cooker on flame with water in its bottom for steaming ready. Add the eno fruit salt in the batter and mix well. It will become frothy. Now from here you need to act fast. Pour the batter in the greased vessel/plate and keep it in the pressure cooker and close the lid without the whistle. Steam it for 10-15 minutes maximum without putting on the whistle on a medium flame. When done off the flame and remove the vessel out and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
